2021 Upper Arlington Farmers Market

The Upper Arlington Farmers Market is scheduled to open for the season on Wednesday, May 19 from 4-7 pm at the Tremont Pool parking lot adjacent to Northam Park. Rain or shine, UA’s Farmers Market will take place from May 19 to October 27. We hope you can join us each week to enjoy the best in seasonal produce from Ohio farmers, as well as other locally produced staples such as bread, pasture-raised meat, eggs, honey, baked goods and more.

The City has partnered with Common Greens (formerly Get Fresh Markets), a local non-profit organization with extensive experience managing farmers markets in Central Ohio. Common Greens is a member of the Ohio Farmers Market Network, a statewide organization providing resources and training to market managers and producers. This partnership connects our farmers market to other Central Ohio markets, engaging it in a USDA Farmers Market Promotion Program grant as well as increasing efficiency and impact for our farmers and producers.

As a proud member of the Ohio Nutrition Incentive Network Produce Perks, Common Greens welcomes SNAP customers to the UA Farmers Market. SNAP customers who use their Ohio Direction card to purchase food from the market will receive $1 for every $1 spent, up to $25 each market day, in Produce Perks for additional fruits and vegetables.

Another addition to the Market this year is the “Buy Another” Neighbor Foods pilot program in partnership with First Community’s Heart to Heart Food Pantry. By choosing to support this program when purchasing produce and other market goods, patrons will be helping to put healthy, fresh foods on the tables of families in need.

The safety protocols and measures that were enacted last year in response to the COVID-19 pandemic are still in place. As part of these measures, customers are asked to stay home if they feel sick, maintain six foot spacing from others, wear a face covering as recommended by CDC guidelines, and refrain from eating or drinking while in the marketplace.

You can pre-order directly from farmers and food producers to limit the need to exchange currency onsite. Click here to access the list of vendors and details of how to preorder.
