Celebrate The Season With Parks & Recreation’s Annual Fall Fest

Celebrate the Season with Parks & Recreation’s Annual Fall Fest

One of the best ways to celebrate all that the fall season has to offer is by attending UA Parks & Recreation’s annual Fall Fest, held this year at Fancyburg Park on Sunday, October 6, from 1-5 pm.

This popular annual family event is packed with activities for everyone to enjoy, including carving your very own pumpkin into a spooky jack-o-lantern, creating your own scarecrow (please provide your own clothes and hat) or participating in the fan-favorite donut eating contest.

Other great activities at Fall Fest include:

  • Caramel apple dipping
  • Cider pressing & sampling
  • A small, farm animal petting zoo
  • Classic Fall Fest activities such as hayrides, inflatables and the shelled corn pit
  • Paintball shooting gallery
  • A variety of arts & crafts activities, with a balloon sculpture artist, face painting
  • Live acoustic music provided by Evan Blankenship–lead singer of the band North to Nashville

A special thanks to Primrose School of Grandview, Magnolia Dental and Smile Doctors for sponsoring some of the fun events this year!

We look forward to seeing you at Fall Fest and celebrating another great fall with UA Parks & Recreation. Please remember this event is held rain or shine, although some activities may not be offered. Call 614-583-5345 day-of for weather updates.
