As the weather gets colder and days shorter, it’s a reminder that UA’s Centennial year is coming to a close, but there is one more event for residents of all ages to enjoy; Centennial Cycle.
Centennial Cycle–which hopefully will become an annual favorite–takes to the streets of UA from 1-4 pm, Sunday, November 4. Participants can choose to take a five-mile course or a 10-mile course exploring the community and our parks, both with built in rest stops featuring snacks and water for participants. The fun begins and ends at the Amelita Mirolo Barn at Sunny 95 Park. Riders will be treated to Jimmy John’s and Chipotle after the race, as well as live music from 2:30-4 pm, courtesy of the local band favorite–Agent 99.
The cost to participate is $10, which includes a Centennial Cycle long-sleeve shirt as long as you register by October 5. Children under four years are free unless you wish to purchase a shirt for them also. Registration will remain open till November 2, but please note that anyone who registers after October 5 will not get their own Centennial Cycle long-sleeve shirt. Click here to register.
