Columbus Turkey Trot

This family tradition has been recognized by Runner’s World Magazine as one of the nations “Best Hometown Favorite” holiday runs.

Since 1986 the annual Columbus Turkey Trot is proud to support Easterseals and their Early Intervention program which provides hands-on, comprehensive support to help children reach their full potential–regardless of challenges, needs or disabilities.

In order to facilitate the orderly flow of traffic and ensure safety for the Turkey Trot 5 Mile Race, the following traffic and parking restrictions will be in place:

• W Lane Avenue will be closed to traffic between Northwest Boulevard and the eastern City limits (Columbus Police will also be closing the road from the UA boundary east to Kenny Road)
• North Star Road will be closed to traffic between Berkshire Road and College Hill Drive
• Brandon Road, Chester Road, Westmont Boulevard, Wellesley Drive, Beaumont Road, and Vassar Place will all be closed at Lane Avenue
• Temporary parking restrictions will be in place from 8 am-Noon on sections of the following streets (signs will be in place, no parking is typically on the fire hydrant side of the street)

  • Berkshire Road
  • Cardiff Road
  • Doone Road
  • Harford Road
  • Beaumont Road
  • Brandon Road
  • Vassar Place
  • College Hill Drive
  • Westminster Drive
• North Star Road will allow temporary parking from 8 am-Noon on the west side of the street
