An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Thursday, repeating until July 15, 2021


You won’t want to miss this year’s safe and socially distanced summer concert series. Enjoy some great tunes from the safety of your vehicle or bring a lawn chair to sit next to your vehicle, for the drive-in concerts. These events are free but PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR DRIVE-IN CONCERT. Registration will open two weeks prior to each concert at 8 am ​for Upper Arlington Residents and one week prior to each concert at 8am for Non-Residents. Pre-Registration for the July concerts is still being determined. Attendees are welcome to bring their own food and snacks. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.

Drive-in Style | The Moxie Strings | June 3
Location: National Church Residences, 2245 N Bank Dr
Hailed by The Grand Rapids Press as “top-notch, instrumental wizardry,” The Moxie Strings offer listeners the unique opportunity to experience some of the world’s best- known instruments through an electric, innovative lens.

Drive-in Style | Red Healer | June 10
Location: National Church Residences, 2245 N Bank Dr
Red Healer fuses folk and soul with light-hearted lyricism that never takes itself too seriously.  Inspired by the energy of the red heeler (Australian cattle dog).

Drive-in Style | Deuce ‘n a Quarter | June 17
Location: National Church Residences, 2245 N Bank Dr
Deuce ‘n a Quarter is a hard driving blues machine fronted by the powerful voice and wailing harmonica of Brian Peters. The band’s forte is its original music, where you’ll hear the influence and respect paid to many blues legends. Take a joyride with Deuce ‘n a Quarter as they blend talent and feelings to create a modern yet classic blues vibe!

Drive-in Style | Ladies of Longford | June 24
Location: National Church Residences, 2245 N Bank Dr
The Ladies of Longford serve up a unique blend of Contemporary Celtic, Traditional Irish and fresh acoustic styles. They are most often defined by their superb vocal Harmonies and excellent musicianship. This high energy all woman band shares its inspired gifts of melody and performance to a vast range of fans. You can count on the Ladies to bring Celtic music to your soul!

Largemouth Brass Band | July 1
Location: Thompson Park, 4250 Woodbridge Rd
Born in Athens, Ohio and relocated to Columbus, Largemouth Brass Band is sure to get the party started and keep it going. With innovative and fresh original music inspired by everything from New Orleans trad-jazz to funk, pop, and hip-hop, this band’s sound is a genre-busting explosion of energy that entertains audiences of all ages.

Victorious KayBirds | July 8
Location: Thompson Park, 4250 Woodbridge Rd
A joy-inducing band with an interesting, ever-increasing repertoire of Soul, Rock, Blues, NOLA & other genre tunes. Victorious KayBirds are an eclectic, experienced, engaging band ready to bring inventive arrangements and unique but familiar sounds that guarantee a good time.

The Deeptones | July 15
Location: Thompson Park, 4250 Woodbridge Rd
The Deeptones will be sure to make even people with two left feet get up and dance as they bring a bit of funk to Upper Arlington. Join us for the final concert of the Music in the Parks season as The Deeptones create their own unique blend of funk, pulling form soul, jazz, blues, rock and more!

Drive-In Style Concerts
Entry begins at 6:15 pm with the concert beginning at 7 pm. You will be directed to a parking spot upon arrival. Smaller vehicles will be parked near the front of the parking lot and larger vehicles in the back. Parking spaces will be properly distanced and attendees are welcome to bring chairs to sit in the designated parking spot next to their vehicle. Restrooms are located at Northwest Kiwanis Park–a short walk from the parking lot–and face coverings must be worn walking to and from the restrooms. Face coverings are not required inside your vehicle or when seated in the designated parking space next to your vehicle.

Please note that if you leave the during the concert, re-entry is not permitted. Submissions to our Community Calendar
As a service to the community, the City hosts an online Community Calendar. We invite you to submit details of upcoming special events that are open to and promote government interests of the community at-large, as determined by the City of Upper Arlington.

To submit a calendar listing, please use this online form. Submissions should include a photograph (no posters or logos) with a exact size of 1920 pixels wide x 1275 pixels high. We recommend that you submit items at least three months in advance, since we may include some community events in the City’s print and e-newsletters as space allows.

The City will not post routine items such as programs, club meetings or classes. The inclusion of a special event does not represent an endorsement from the City. The City reserves complete control of any event postings on the Community Calendar and has final approval authority over them. Community Calendar postings are not intended to, and do not, create a public or designated forum for private speech of any kind. The City reserves its right to refuse a submission
