Ladies of Longford were a huge hit at their 2021 Music in the Parks performance and we are excited to welcome them back this summer. The Ladies of Longford serve up a unique blend of Contemporary Celtic, Traditional Irish and fresh acoustic styles. They are most often defined by their superb vocal harmonies and excellent musicianship. This high energy, all woman band will bring Celtic music to your soul!

Paisha Thomas is an artist, an activist, a songwriter, a musician and a fighter for peace. A descendent of the Randolph Freed People – a group of 383 freed slaves who traveled by foot from Roanoke, Virginia to their promised land in Ohio in 1846 only to be turned away by violent mobs. Paisha’s music preserves not only her family history but sings to the current social and racial injustices in our country. Through recognizable covers and her originals Paisha’s music seeks to answer the question – When will we overcome?

Packing a Southern Rock/Pop, Blues & Americana sound and positive, family-friendly message, some describe Josh Gilbert Band as an upbeat tempo with a splash of John Mayer Trio and a kick of Stevie Ray Vaughan. Hailing originally from Chattanooga, TN, Josh has toured across the U.S. and Canada for over 12 years, with over 1,000 performances to date.

Formed in 2016, The Big Badd combines the worlds of pop, rock, funk, and jazz with multiple vocalists, 3 horns, and a great rhythm section. 100% local to Columbus, their members can be found teaching lessons, directing high school bands, and performing across the city! They love to get together and bring a fresh sound to old classics and reimagine new hits!

Dawna is an eclectic rock band led by mesmerizing front man Jesse Henry (The Spikedrivers, Strutterfly). Backed by keyboardist Ryan Paradise and power trio The High Definitions the band’s dynamic musicianship elevates Henry’s performance to new heights.

Tight harmonies, arrangements, and talented musicians are the foundation of Dawna’s unique sound. Henry’s songwriting establishes a modern identity while paying homage to American roots, blues, jazz, and country. Together, Dawna creates soundscapes, and adventurous imagery that take the listener on a fun, thoughtful, and soulful journey.

The Mighty Troubadours are a vocally-oriented string-band that offers an eclectic blend of traditional and contemporary bluegrass music. With a combination of original music and covers, they play a few different styles of bluegrass music. This eclectic mix of styles is unified by the common threads of acoustic settings on mandolin, banjo, dobro, guitar, violin, and bass. Their soulful harmonies and “grassy” instrumentation encompass a true Americana style.
