Fifth to Griggs Biking and Walking Study

Quarry Park Study Area

Online Public Meeting Open House
Survey Feedback and Comments Accepted Through September 4, 2020

The City of Columbus Recreation and Parks Department initiated the Fifth to Griggs Biking and Walking Study to explore options for improving walking and biking in the study area, which is located to the immediate west of Upper Arlington, between 5th Avenue and Zollinger Road, and includes the Quarry Trails Metro Park under development by Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks, connecting to Griggs Reservoir Park.

This study is being conducted in consultation with surrounding communities, such as Upper Arlington, and is complementary to the City’s exploration of options for improving pedestrian and bicycle connectivity to the Scioto River and the future Quarry Trails Metro Park.

An online open house is being held in lieu of a public meeting to seek input from area residents on the options under consideration. You can view a video that provides an overview of the project and path alignment options, download pdf files, and access answers to some frequently asked questions on the study.

A link is provided to a quick online survey about the study, and it’s also possible to submit additional comments to the project coordinator.
