Fishinger Road Phase 2 Construction Update

The Fishinger Road Phase 2 Reconstruction Project – from just west of Mountview Road to Riverside Drive – is scheduled to begin Monday, January 8, 2024, weather permitting.

The initial work will be comprised of traffic maintenance staging and the start of new waterline installation, which will occur on the north side of the street from Mountview Road to Sunset Drive and then on the south side of the street from Sunset Drive to the project limits.

Phase 2 improvements include replacing and upgrading street lighting, replacing deteriorating curb, gutter, and driveway aprons, creating ADA accessible curb ramp crossings, extending and replacing the existing sidewalk on the south side of Fishinger Road with a five-foot concrete sidewalk, and installing a new eight-foot concrete sidewalk on the north side of Fishinger Road. Signage will also be updated to encourage shared use of the road with bicycles.
