New and Improved Upper Arlington Farmers Market Opens June 5

The Upper Arlington Farmers Market is a summer staple in UA, providing convenient access to locally grown seasonal fruits, vegetables, perennial plants and herbs. After soliciting feedback from market customers, the City’s Parks & Recreation Department is excited to launch the 2019 season with a fresh new look.

The City has partnered with Get Fresh Markets, a local non-profit organization with extensive experience managing farmers markets in Central Ohio. Get Fresh Markets is a member of the Ohio Farmers Market Network, a statewide organization providing resources and training to market managers and producers. This new partnership will connect our farmers market to other markets in the region and allow for participation a USDA Farmers Market Promotion Program grant.

Additional changes to the market include a new start date, more convenient hours, a centralized location, and live music! Rain or shine, UA’s 2019 Farmers Market will take place at the northwest corner of the Tremont Pool parking lot at 2850 Tremont Road from 4-7 pm each Wednesday, from June 5 through September 25.

Here’s a look at the monthly guide to this summer’s produce:
