The Columbus Foundation is once again encouraging communities and citizens to participate in The Big Table on Wednesday, August 28, by either hosting or participating in a Big Table discussion. The purpose of The Big Table is to strengthen and connect communities through thoughtful conversation about important issues and community needs.
The Upper Arlington community has hosted Big Table discussions for the past three years, thanks to a collaboration of several community organizations, with plans to once again participate in 2019. Conversations will center around community issues that are important and relevant to participants, so if there’s a topic that you wish to bring forward for discussion, all you have to do is register and come ready to share your idea.
UA’s Big Table discussions will take place at the Amelita Mirolo Barn in Sunny 95 Park, with three sessions scheduled throughout the day:
- 8:30-10 am
- 1-2:30 pm
- 6:30-8 pm
We hope you can join us to meet with your fellow residents and community leaders for networking, some lively discussions, and to help pave the way for some exciting new community collaborations.
