Annual Drug Take Back Day Promotes Safe Disposal & Community Health
National Drug Take Back Day was a great success in Upper Arlington, with community members safely disposing of 123 pounds of prescription medications. Hosted by the Police Division on October 26 at Fire Station 72, the event offered a convenient drive-thru drop-off for expired, unused, or unwanted medications.
This annual event provides residents with a safe, anonymous way to dispose of prescription drugs, helping prevent misuse and improper disposal. Each year, millions of Americans gain access to prescription drugs, like pain relievers and stimulants, for non-medical purposes, making this initiative essential.
