Increased Police Patrols to Address Parking Issues Near Upper Arlington High School
The Upper Arlington Police Division will be increasing patrols around Upper Arlington High School in response to resident concerns about parking issues, particularly during snowy conditions.
Reports from residents include vehicles parking too close to driveways, intersections, as well as outside of marked spaces on the street. These practices can create safety hazards and reduce accessibility for other drivers, pedestrians, and emergency responders.
To avoid tickets or towing, drivers are reminded to:
- Park only within marked spaces
- Ensure vehicles are at least 5 feet from driveways
- Avoid parking within 10 feet of fire hydrants
- Keep crosswalks clear and accessible
To report a parking issue, call the Police Division’s non-emergency line at 614-459-2800.
