400+ New Solar Panels Installed at Bob Crane Community Center
The Bob Crane Community Center is making strides toward sustainability with the installation of over 400 solar panels on its roof. This initiative is a significant step in reducing energy costs and supporting Upper Arlington’s commitment to green energy.
Manufactured by central Ohio based Illuminate USA, these cutting-edge solar panels are designed to enhance the building’s energy efficiency and contribute to the city’s environmental goals. Recently, City of Upper Arlington staff had the opportunity to tour the Illuminate USA factory in Pataskala, Ohio. This visit provided an inside look at the production process of these advanced solar panels and underscored the local partnership driving this project.
The installation is set to be completed in the coming weeks, marking a milestone in Upper Arlington’s efforts to embrace renewable energy. To learn more about the solar panels, click here.
