Ohio law requires all dogs over three months of age to have a valid license, which must be renewed at the start of each year (unless you purchase a three-year or permanent license).

The tags often come in handy as a means for identification should your dog go missing, and funds raised form the licensing program support the Franklin County Dog Shelter and the County’s Animal Control operations.
