City Holidays
The City closes its offices in observance of 10 official holidays each year. Not all City-observed holidays translate to a delay in trash and recycling collection. See the list below for dates and details:

- Wednesday & Thursday zones on a one-day delay
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day – Monday, January 20
- No trash and recycling delays
- Presidents’ Day – Monday, February 17
- No trash and recycling delays
- Memorial Day – Monday, May 26
- All zones have a one-day delay
- Juneteenth – Thursday, June 19
- No trash and recycling delays
- Independence Day – Friday, July 4
- No trash and recycling delays
- Labor Day – Monday, September 1
- All zones have a one-day delay
- Veterans Day – Tuesday, November 11
- No trash and recycling delays
- Thanksgiving Day – Thursday, November 27
