Between the Mountains, Exploring the Great Plains of North American, Artist: Thomas Croce
November 20-January 31, 2025 | Reception: Sunday, November 24 | 2-4 pm
Explore the misunderstood beauty of the Great Plains and prairies of North America through the awe-inspiring photography of Thomas Croce. Contrary to the attention that a mountain landscape may command, Croce draws attention to the subtleties of the prairie landscape. While you may not find a specific focal point, get lost in the vast expanse of land and sky and glimpse back in time when prairies covered almost one third of North America and Bison roamed freely. Today, prairies and grasslands have diminished significantly and have become the world’s most endangered ecosystem.
