Friends of UA Parks Volunteer Day
If you enjoy working outside, are looking for some exercise, or want to get involved in a worthwhile community service project, join Friends of UA Parks for the opportunity to assist with invasive plant control and tree planting projects.
These fun and productive events will allow you to meet new people in your community and enjoy a morning of teamwork. You’ll be amazed at what we can accomplish in a few hours! If attending, please be sure to wear long pants and closed-toe shoes for safety. Locations alternate month-to-month. View location schedule below.

April 20, 2024 (tentative) – Northwest Kiwanis Park
May 18, 2024 – Smith Nature Park
June 15, 2024 – Fancyburg Park (meet on south side)
August 24, 2024 – Smith Nature Park (please note: adjusted hours for this activity are 10:30 am-1:30 pm)
