The Firefighting Heritage of Upper Arlington

Join in to travel the decades since Upper Arlington formally established a municipal fire department on December 1, 1930. See how the people, the equipment, and the techniques have evolved to meet the challenges faced by today’s emergency responders. Presenter, Dan Kochensparger, is the Upper Arlington Fire Division’s volunteer historian who served as a UA firefighter for 33 years. After the presentation, attendees may cross the street for a short guided visit to Fire Station #72.
