Special Event and Calendar Reminders
An application and permitting process is in place for community special events that require use of City property and/or City logistical and planning support.
Event organizers are encouraged to start their applications early (see the schedule below). For new event proposals, planners may be required to attend a review meeting.

2025 Community Calendar
As a service to the community, the City provides an online Community Calendar of special events on its website. These event listings are oftentimes promoted by the City via other means, as space and scheduling permits. Now is the time to send us details of qualifying community events for 2022.
2025 Observances Calendar
Each year, the City’s Community Relations Committee provides an observances calendar on its website, detailing notable national and religious holidays and observances. We hope you use this tool when planning special events or public meetings.
