UA Parks & Rec’s Fall Activity Guide

Summer may be in full swing, but UA Parks & Rec is always planning ahead for the next season of activities. The Fall Activity Guide is out, and it’s packed with a variety of classes, programs, events and activities for all ages and interests.

In this issue, we feature details on the much-anticipated Bob Crane Community Center, which is scheduled to open in the Spring of 2025. This includes an overview of the facilities within the building, planned operating hours and membership rates, along with details on the Event Center and other rental facilities.

As UA Parks & Rec continues its preparations for this exciting new facility, many behind-the-scenes logistical items are being worked through, one of which requires action from all customers who are UA residents. Beginning August 19, residents with existing UA Parks & Rec accounts for program registration will be required to verify and update their accounts, including listing members of their household. They must also submit proof of residency – which could be a utility bill, lease, deed, paycheck, or tax record – either by uploading documentation to their account, or by stopping into the Parks & Rec office, at 3600 Tremont Road, during normal office hours. Resident households that have not completed this step by November 8 will be charged at the Non-Resident rate until this step has been completed.

Also in the Fall Activity Guide you can find an overview of this year’s Labor Day Arts Festival, which is scheduled for Monday, September 2, and many other fall events that are on the horizon.

And of course, as always, a full slate of programs and activities for all ages and interests are just waiting for you to discover them.
