The Upper Arlington Police Division proudly welcomed Isaac Brown during a swearing-in ceremony held on August 22, 2024, at the Municipal Services Center. Recruit Brown is set to join the Police Division upon the successful completion of the Ohio State Highway Patrol Training Academy.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol Training Academy is 21-week program known for its rigorous curriculum, which meets and exceeds the training standards established by the Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission. Training includes an extensive range of topics, such as criminal and traffic law, community relations, and physical training. Officers in-training also learn critical skills in self-defense, firearms handling, emergency vehicle operations, standardized field sobriety testing, and the use of electronic speed measuring devices.

Recruit Brown is scheduled to begin at the Ohio State Highway Patrol Training Academy on August 26, 2024.
