UAPD Lieutenant Graduates from FBI National Academy
Lieutenant Branden Staiger of the Upper Arlington Police Division has joined an elite group of law enforcement professionals after successfully completing the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. Lt. Staiger was among 257 officers from across the United States and 27 countries who graduated as part of the 292nd session.
The FBI National Academy is internationally recognized for its rigorous academic, leadership, and physical fitness training. Over 11 weeks, participants engage in advanced coursework taught by experts in their fields. Attendees are selected based on their exemplary service and professional achievements, with the majority returning to their agencies in executive-level roles.
FBI Director Christopher Wray addressed the graduating class during the ceremony on December 12, 2024, where graduates earned the opportunity to receive undergraduate and graduate-level credits accredited by the University of Virginia.
Since its establishment in 1935, the FBI National Academy has graduated over 55,000 law enforcement leaders.
