The Upper Arlington Police Division is warning residents about a phone scam involving someone falsely claiming to be Police Chief Keith Hall. Several community members have reported receiving calls from an individual who claims to be Chief Hall and says they are collecting donations for a young girl in need of surgery. In some cases, the scammer even uses a fake voicemail greeting that impersonates Chief Hall’s identity.

Please be advised that this is a scam. Chief Hall is not making these calls, and the Upper Arlington Police Division will never ask for donations over the phone.
