Phone Scam Targeting Upper Arlington Residents

The Upper Arlington Police Division is warning residents about a phone scam involving callers spoofing the non-emergency line. Victims have reported receiving calls from individuals claiming to be officers from the Upper Arlington Police Division, mentioning bench warrants and instructing recipients on how to make payments.

The Upper Arlington Police Division will never call residents to ask for personal information or request payment over the phone. This is a clear indicator of a scam.

If you receive one of these calls, do not engage with the caller. Instead, immediately hang up the phone.
