Upper Arlington Firefighters Join Efforts in Logan County Disaster Operations
In response to the devastating storms that struck Logan County on March 14, 2024, three members of the Upper Arlington Fire Division have been mobilized to assist in search, rescue, and disaster operations. These firefighters are part of the Central Ohio Strike Team (COST), a specialized unit consisting of selected members from various area fire departments.
The Central Ohio Strike Team (COST) is a collaborative effort among several fire departments in the region, aimed at providing rapid and effective response to emergencies and disasters. The team members undergo specialized training to ensure they are prepared to handle a variety of situations, including search and rescue operations in challenging environments.
As our firefighters join the efforts in Logan County, our thoughts are with all those affected by the storms. We are grateful for the dedication and bravery of our firefighters and all emergency responders who are working tirelessly to assist those in need.
