Starting Monday, August 12, the playground at Northam Park will be temporarily closed for maintenance and improvements. The closure is expected to last up to two weeks, during which time a contractor will replace three large slides and resurface most of the rubber safety surfacing. We know the playground is a favorite spot for many, and these enhancements will make it an even safer and more enjoyable place for kids and families to play.

Signs will be posted around the area to notify visitors of the closure. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to enhance the park’s amenities.

The playground will reopen as soon as the work is completed. In the meantime, we encourage residents to explore the other parks and recreational facilities available throughout Upper Arlington.
