How do I know if I have been selected to continue in the hiring process?

All applicants will be notified by phone or email as to whether or not they are invited to continue on in the hiring process.

I saw a job posting listed on your website but when I came back later it was no longer there. What happened?

Many job postings have expirations/closing dates. Be sure to look for the closing date listed when you see a job you are interested in applying for.

The public is invited to visit any UAFD fire station provided crews are available. Walk-in tours are welcome but for larger groups, we ask that you schedule a tour with our Fire Administration Office. Please keep tour groups to a maximum of 15 individuals. Please call 614-583-5100 to schedule.

How do I apply for Police Officer or Firefighter positions that do not have an “APPLY” button?

The City does not accept applications for Policy Officer or Firefighter positions through our website. Both positions must first schedule a test with National Testing Network. The process to apply for Police Officer or Firefighter positions are detailed in each posting.
