Project Fire Buddies is a national nonprofit initiative that connects firefighters with children battling serious illnesses. Through surprise visits, special events, and heartfelt connections, the program is dedicated to bringing joy, hope, and unforgettable moments to these brave young warriors and their families.

The Upper Arlington chapter marks an exciting expansion of the program’s reach into Central Ohio. Firefighters from both the Fire Division and Local 1521 have already begun preparing to meet their first “Fire Buddies,” with plans to provide regular visits, gifts, and support tailored to each child’s interests and needs.
