Northam Tennis 2024 Season Pass Pricing & Open House Update
Season Pass Pricing Adjustments
With the Northam Tennis Courts slated for replacement as part of the 2024 Northam Park Improvement Project, it has been necessary to shorten this year’s season, with eight courts available for play from May 5 through August 4. In response, the department decided to reduce the cost of 2024 season passes by 25% and to not offer a combined tennis/pool pass this year.
The construction project began early Spring, with initial focus on replacing the service building and installing six new pickleball courts. The construction firm has been able to provide temporary electric for the irrigation system to water the courts but was unable to retain electric for the court lights for this season.
This limits play to daylight hours, therefore the department cannot offer the previously planned 8:30-10 pm timeslot. With this additional reduction in available court time, the 2024 season pass rates are being reduced by 40% from the 2023 rates. Patrons that have already purchased their tennis passes will receive a prorated refund to reflect this adjustment.
Northam Tennis Open House
Tennis fans are invited to join UA Parks & Rec for an Open House at the Northam Tennis Courts, from 1-5 pm on Saturday, May 4, in advance of the 2024 tennis season, which begins Sunday, May 5. The Open House provides tennis fans an opportunity to tour the courts, meet with the tennis pros and facility staff, as well as other prospective members.
Full details of season passes, facility hours, tennis lessons, special dates and a map of the site can be found here.
We appreciate patrons’ understanding and patience during this construction season and look forward to celebrating new and much improved facilities for the 2025 season. Click here for information on the 2024 Northam Park Improvement Project.
